Daniel Whitmore
Daniel Whitmore knows exactly where forex traders win and lose money — because he used to be on the other side of the trade. A former FX dealer, he is now BrokersRoom's Forex & CFD Specialist, testing each broker's real trading conditions and writing our forex, leverage and demo-account guides.
Daniel holds a BSc in Financial Economics from the University of Leeds. He spent six years as an FX dealer before moving into independent research, giving him a dealer's-eye view of spreads, slippage and how brokers really make their money.
With over a decade in forex and CFD markets, he opens and funds live accounts to measure spreads under real conditions, tests execution during news events, and scrutinises leverage and margin rules. His focus is helping traders avoid hidden costs and choose brokers with genuinely fair conditions.
